Amethyst Music was created by Mark Stormont in 2009, who, as a musician himself, was in a position to form an organisation with an insider's approach to quality live music provided by musicians who care about their jobs and the service they provide.

With a strong dislike of impersonal, uninspired live music Mark wanted to provide clients with a personal service which strove for customised, exceptional results with quality as standard.

In the face of oversized face-less event music agencies Amethyst Music was set up to give clients the opportunity to do business as it should be done: between people.

Amethyst Music represents musicians who match Mark's enthusiasm for excellence. Musicians who care about their craft , who want to be performing to the highest of standards to create special events.

Each and every event is attended to personally and with considerable inside experience. Mark continues to run everything hands on, associating directly with clients, musicians, venues and planners. Everything is kept clear and exceptionally organised, this clarity is greatly appreciated by those on both sides of the instruments, and events, at least musically speaking, occur effortlessly.
